The rational ways to improve the process of vocational and technical English teaching are discussed in this article. One of this method is games that contribute to the successful development of interest in vocational and technical English learning, involving even passive students, creating an atmosphere of competition between the teams and the desire to win. In this case, the possibility and conditions for unintentional learning of educational material arise. Games used at the lesson can have different purposes. Some of them are aimed at replenishing vocabulary, others – at the ability to compose questions correctly, and still others – at the ability to compose grammatically correct sentences.
